KJ, is a seasoned strategy professional with over three decades of experience in top management roles, specializing in strategic management and operational excellence.
KJ’s journey started with a passion for mechanical engineering, which led to his transition into strategic management, focusing on establishing impactful organizations and initiatives.
About KJ
Jagadheeswaran Krishnan is a Strategy Professional based in Zambia and was till recently the Chief Operating Officer for 260 Brands, a leading FMCG organization, having handled several Top management positions spanning 3 decades.
KJ has a Doctorate of Philosophy in Strategic Management from the University of Zambia and a PGDM ( equivalent to MBA) from Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneshwar, India. KJ is also a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Trichy. Both NIT Trichy and Xavier Institute of Management are premier Institutes in India ( Top 10) and UNZA being a Nodal university in Zambia. KJ has more than 33 years of strong cross industry and cross functional experience and has developed an affinity in the areas of Strategic Management. A Six sigma green belt certificate holder, a Balanced Score Card Master Professional, and having currently completed his Phd in Strategic Management in the areas of National Competitive advantage, KJ is keen in developing National talent and participates in many forums expressing his thoughts on management areas. As a reflection of his social responsibility KJ runs an NGO Smart Villages Africa ( www.smart-villages.org )with a Vision of Transforming Poverty to Prosperity and also focused on the uplifting of underprivileged girl children and women under a special scheme WHEELS ( Women Health Empowerment, Education Loan Schemes).
KJ is well suited to senior Group-level leadership and executive management roles that demand strategic vision, strong operational leadership, and sound financial management expertise. He has extensive experience in organizational development, talent management, and building high-performing teams. KJ is proficient in designing and implementing performance management frameworks, including Balanced Scorecards, OKRs, KPIs, and RACI matrices, while also providing practical coaching and training to ensure successful adoption and sustained organizational performance.
